Coming Up

Now is the time to get involved to repeal vacancy decontrol and protect rent-regulated housing in NYC!

1--- TOMORROW, Fri, Jan 16th: NYS Assembly Committee on Housing: Public Hearing on Rent Regulation

This Assembly hearing aims to determine what actions can be taken to preserve the existing supply of rent regulated housing and to encourage the development of new units. Join Housing Here and Now and show support for the repeal of vacancy decontrol.

When: Friday, January 16, 2009, 11:30 a.m.
Where: 250 Broadway, NYC, Assembly Hearing Room, Room 1923, 19th Floor

250 Broadway is directly across the street from City Hall, in lower Manhattan.

It is not clear how long the hearing will go on, but it is likely it will go into late afternoon, so come late if you must.
