Housing Here and Now Campaign Planning Meeting - Wed, Sept. 24

Last spring, many of you mobilized for local rallies and trips to Albany for the repeal of vacancy decontrol, the $2,000 loophole in our rent laws.  We successfully fought this legislation defending tenants through the Assembly.  Now it is time to take the next step, and end vacancy decontrol altogether.

We will be spending the time planning a major, 1,000-person rally on November 19, demanding the end to vacancy decontrol!  We are also planning creative events through the fall to highlight the need for stronger rent laws and better housing.
